- man kills 3 relatives, himself after possible hostage standoff- A family dispute ended when a man apparently shot and killed his wife's two sisters and his son before fatally shooting himself, authorities said.Officers had been waiting for hours since being called about a possible hostage situation at the house near Logan, about 50 miles southeast of Columbus. A person who had been held hostage had been able to flee, the sheriff told reporters.

- romney edges out santorum to win iowa caucasus- mitt romney and rick santorum went toe to toe in the iowa caucuses last night. the voting was very close and mitt romney eventually won by 8 votes and technically by percentages they tied at 25%.
- library sends police to collect overdue books from 5 year old- A little girl reportedly was scared to tears after a library ordered police officers to her home to collect overdue books. Shannon Benoit, the mother of 5-year-old Hailey answered the door to Charlton Police Sergeant Dan Dowd who was sent to let her know that her daughter had two books overdue which had to be either returned or paid for.
